Remembering Those Loved and Lost But Never Forgotten

Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day was founded in 2015 by Deborah Barnes, award-winning author and blogger of Zee & Zoey’s Cat Chronicles  as a tribute to her Ragdoll cat, Mr. Jazz, who she had to say goodbye to on August 28, 2013. She shared the journey of letting him go in her critically acclaimed book, Purr Prints of the Heart – A Cat’s Tale of Life, Death, and Beyond and decided to create the day in his honor as a way for others across the world to share memories of their own pets they had loved and lost.

I so regret that DaWeenies have been MIA for such a long time mostly due to Internet problems that still haven't been completely resolved.

But I couldn't let this special day go by without paying tribute to all the special dogs who have shared my life throughout the years.

The following photo includes every one of the dogs I have loved and lost.  Thankfully I haven't had to add anyone since 2015.

I have also created a website including a page for every dog with their life story.

Hopefully things will improve and DaWeenies will return soon.  Amber and Max say:
