Today me gots some GOOD news...

and

some BAD news!

Furst....da GOOD news!

Da odder day me heard da Momma say dat dere finally be da light at da end of da very looong tunnel.

(Me don't see no tunnel, Mom)

Da remodel project at me house has been going on fur more den a year now.

AND

Finally it will all be over soon.

Da room painting in da main pawt of da house is halfway done.

Dad hopes to finish over da weekend.

All da old 22-year-old carpet is being torn out.

(Can me pee on da old carpet just to say me did it?)

Da new carpet be comin' da second week in October!

By da end of October me will be livin in a whole NEW house!
(Well, not NEW...butt remodeled and clean)

wit da GOOD, dere has to be BAD too.

Da WHOLE house has to be PACKED up and all da furniture gots to be moved out fur da carpet peeps so dey can put in da new carpet.

Mom...you gonna pack ME too?

OH NOSE!  Even my puter gots to get packed away!

Mommy says we's only gonna be gone fur a few weeks and den dis nightmare will be over.

Pleeeeze don't furget me while me is gone!

Mommy says if me helps her clean up afterward, den me can get back sooner.

My Very SPECIAL Date

Me has been out of da date pool fur a while now...ever since my WEENIE went to da Bridge 3 months ago.

On da night before Date Day, me went to bed like me usually do.

Me falled fast asleep....

and den me heard it!

Da sound of a buzzing bee!

Could it Be???

Yes!

It be WEENIE and him's

MAGIC BUMBLE BEE!

He swooped down right into my dreams...

And

We were off for a magical date.

Da Gates of Rainbow Bridge were open to guests for Date Day!

My Weenie landed the Magic Bumble Bee in a beautiful meadow!

He gave me a rose and told me his love would never die!

We played in the meadow and even said hello to some of my pack who were already living at the Bridge.

Da day went by way too fast.  Weenie gave me a kiss and said it was time fur him to go.

Until we meet again, my love!

Weenie will always be watching over me until me can be with him again.

Da next morning me woke up thinking about Weenie and the wonderful dream me had.
