Me gots to tell ya'll bout someting very scary dat happened at me house on Sunday morning.
Mommy and Daddy were in a big hurry to leave to go to Human Sissy's house cause her wasn't feelin' well.
Us pups were all just doin our own ting. Some of us went outside to da yard to enjoy da nice sunshine.
Brudder Max (DaOdderWeenie) decided to go Dino Diggin' again.
Dese pics were from anudder time butt you get da idea.
Anywho....dis hole was patched up and no buddy looked at it fur a long time...until Sunday. Brudder Max decided to re-open da hole ... only dis time it wasn't as wide.
MAX GOT STUCKED UNDER DA CEMENT!
Sissy Jennie was all worried and was diggin like crazy behind him. Butt me don't nose fur sure if her was tryin' to bury him or unbury him.
Someting made da Mommy go out and check on us guys. Her saw Jennie so her went over to see what her was doin'. Den her saw Brudder Max's tail and bout 1 inch of him's rump stickin out of da sand. Him wasn't movin' anymore.
(Sorry...fur once Mommy didn't run to get da flashy beast fur pics. Her was too busy freakin out and havin a heart attack.)
Mommy tried to unbury him and pull him out BUTT him was stuck under da cement real good. So Mommy started screamin' (boy can she scream) fur Daddy.
Daddy came runnin' out screamin bout why was she screamin so loud. Mommy said Brudder Max wasn't movin' and probably couldn't breathe under dere. Daddy tried pullin butt him was stuck good. So Daddy had to dig with him's paws to make da hole bigger to pull Brudder Max out.
Brudder Max was a wittle bit dazed butt started breathin again when all da sand was cleared from him's mouth.
Him was fine and ready to go Dino Diggin all over again.
BUTT Daddy said NO WAY and went to da garage and got some wood and cement blocks to block up the entire side where da best Dino Diggin spots are.
SO....no more diggin fur any buddy... :(

Holy Crap! (oops, can we say that?) That is very scary fur sure. We are glad to hear that Max is OK and that Mommy screams REALLY loud and that Daddy has good paws for digging. Someone was on your side!

I MUST TELL YOU MY MOM LAUGHED OUT LOUD AT YOUR MOM SCREAMING FOR YOUR DAD AND YOUR DAD SCREAMING AT HER FOR SCREAMING AT HIM. THAT WAS JUST TOO FUNNY. SOUNDS LIKE THAT WOULD HAVE MADE A GREAT 3 STOOGES SAGA.

Your poor momma! Mine would have been having a big heartattack, too! So VERY glad you brother is OK and that everything settled down...Jennie is kind of a hero...and so is dad. Sorry about the loss of the good digging spots, though!

Phew, well that is some scary story, sooo glad it had a HAPPY ending and Dad has stopped any further digging adventures!

Max I thought that was what our tails were for to pull us out of holes by. But then if you are stuck why they could pull our tails off. I guess in a few days you would have been a we bit thinner and been able to get out. But if you had no air oh my Max I am so happy you are alive to tell the tail/tale.
