Remembering Those Loved and Lost But Never Forgotten

Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day was founded in 2015 by Deborah Barnes, award-winning author and blogger of Zee & Zoey’s Cat Chronicles  as a tribute to her Ragdoll cat, Mr. Jazz, who she had to say goodbye to on August 28, 2013. She shared the journey of letting him go in her critically acclaimed book, Purr Prints of the Heart – A Cat’s Tale of Life, Death, and Beyond and decided to create the day in his honor as a way for others across the world to share memories of their own pets they had loved and lost.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I so regret that DaWeenies have been MIA for such a long time mostly due to Internet problems that still haven't been completely resolved.

But I couldn't let this special day go by without paying tribute to all the special dogs who have shared my life throughout the years.

The following photo includes every one of the dogs I have loved and lost.  Thankfully I haven't had to add anyone since 2015.

I have also created a website including a page for every dog with their life story.

Hopefully things will improve and DaWeenies will return soon.  Amber and Max say:

We know you have many, many "angels" and that you care deeply for those who are in need of special attention ... YOU are special in your love for them. Thank you for all you've done, for all you do. You are an angel on earth, Linda ...
HUGS today, every day.

We miss you too. What a good idea to write about each special dog. We should do that.

I believe our furangels are always with us...sure do miss them, though. Hugs to you...and I share in the computer issues...I'm having trouble with my computer these days, even as I write this! It is coughing, and sputtering, and wheezing, and a slow, spinning "candy wheel!" Miss you!

Thank you for the thoughtful and kind comment you made on our post about our Daddy. We know he's an Angel smiling down on us but we are heartbroken.

Hi The Pack Amber & Max ~ We got you wonderful Christmas card today. Thank You Thank You. We did not put our name on the list this year and thought it would be a sad Christmas without Greeting Cards but friends like you are putting cheer in our holidays and we have cards to hang once again this year. We are wishing you all the most wonderful Christmas and we think of your human sissy often.
Happy Holidays
