OMD...My Walls Are Moving!!!!!

Hi Ya'll!!

Me finally gots up da nerve to tell every buddy what da source of Mom's everlasting headache is!
(No, brudder Max....it not be ME)

One day back on August 19, Dad yelled in a very loud voice.....

LET DA DEMOLITION BEGIN!

And it did!
We gots dis big 40 x 25 paw room dat used to be a screen room 20 years ago dat Dad enclosed wit plywood and drywall.  Us pups liked to call it our PLAYDEN, but da Momma and da Daddy called it da FAMILY ROOM.

Me was a big help tearin da room apawt!

Wittle by wittle all da inside walls comed down!
And da inside pawt of the ceiling comed down!

Da ceiling fan was on da floor and den me saw it in da big dumb DUMBster

And purrrrty soon da outside walls come tumblin down too and some really scary blue stuff went up.

Soon da roof will be comin down too butt da Momma told da Daddy if him took it down too soon, he'd have to put up wit her rantin and ravin and it wouldn't be purrty.  Notice, da roof is still dere...fur now!

Me and da pack were all nervous cause da walls were always movin.  Should have seen dem when Hurry-Cane Sandy went past Flori-Da.  It be nuff to make a pup dizzy!

Da back pawt of me house is all blue scary stuff and plywood to keep us pups from gettin out to da pool deck.

And..wowsers...where did me pool go??
Da Dad said him be tryin' to keep da pool as clean as possible.

Me's not hap-pee bout any of dis.
And me won't even repeat what da poor Momma is goin' through.  Movin walls, strange smells, unwelcome guests in da form of flies and mosquitos.  Gosh, we even had a BIRD come into da house last week.  And when it rains or da wind is blowin hard...well me don't even wants to bark bout dat!

Da builders are all ready to start buildin da new concrete block walls but da poopy County is holdin up da permit.  Dey keep askin questions bout dis and dat and wastin all da time in da world to issue da permit so da builder mans can start buildin.

So until da permit comes, we gets to live under da tarps wit da movin walls, da skeeters, da birds.  Just waitin fur dat tree rat to join our family too.

 Poor Autumn pwobly wishes her was back in her foster home again.  {not really}

And me waits fur better days!

GREENWAY, TAKE ME AWAY!

 See Ya'll Soon
(If me don't get eaten by da movin walls)

Amber, we think the only thing to do is to demand that you and your family stay in a five-star hotel with room service until all that scary stuff at your house is finished. Seems reasonable to us...

Good grief, Amber!! The blue stuff IS scary! And a bird got in your house? How crazy is that?!? No wonder your Momma has a headache...that's enough to give anyone a headache!!

We hope the stupid county will hurry up and give the builder men the permits to build the house. What exactly is the finished product supposed to be? A new family room?

Happy Wednesday!

Goodness Amber, you scared us half to death with your title! We thought you were out drinking last night and had the bed spinnies.

I'm not too sure what is worse, the bed spinnies or your construction zone. Watch out for alligator's! I don't want to hear you screaming all the way from here.

Hugs,

Yikes!!! No wonder your Mom has a HEADACHE :O We think blue moving walls would be very scary too.
Sounds like things are going to be noisy and wild for a while.
That will be wilder than Tillie and Julie growling at each other! heehee

Ruh roh, this sounds like trouble. My assistant gets stressed just thinking about this kind of project. Tell your mom and all your furry family members to hang in there!

Amber, I am so sorry that your house is all apart and up and down and broken and messed up. My Mommy says she would pretty much be crying by now if it was her. I hope it gets fixed soon, but I bet it will be really cool when its done.

WHOA! That's kerazy! Sometimes I have to wonder what goes on in humans' heads. They're all like, "Hmmm...here are some pawfectly good walls. Think I'll knock 'em down." Weird. But I kinda can't wait to see what it all looks like when it's done!

And thank you, thank you for helping spreads the word about our FUN-raiser! We're just super grateful to all our furends for helping us like this.

Hey Amber, Jet here.

You're so brave for managing to get through all this as well as you are. We know about the goofballs who must issue permits. Mom said she did lots of that wall stuff before I arrived.

You'll enjoy the finished product, however, the process can make a K9 Krazy!

OH NO AMBER...girlfriend I feel your pain and send my heart felt sympathies. Nothing is worse than the walls and the ceilings falling. Been there done that...then last Oct my peeps had all the siding replaced on the outside of the house. Enough nose to wake the dead...It will be quite beautiful I'm sure but I know you'll all be glad when it is over.
Hugs and sympathy

OMD, Amber, your house, wot a BIG mess! You would think the skeeters would take one look, say "YIKES" and fly away. Those pawmit peeples need to get on the ball!

Jed and Abby in MerryLand said...

Yikes, Amber! It's even worse than we imagined! Have any of you managed to escape yet? And we don't mean just fall into the pool. Bet just worrying about keeping track of all of you to be sure you're safe and accounted for is contributing to your mom's headaches. Although mama assures us just having no walls and unwanted insects inside the house is more than enough to do it. Sounds like an adventure to us.

You sure know how to keep things from getting boring! The WDA likes nice solid walls (heck, we don't even like it when the winds blow the dog door and it flaps)! And quiet places to nap. Hope the permit arrives soon and your walls can stop quaking.

Oh my COD, Amber, that sure is a big mess. LOL. Hope the Dad can get it all straightened out. He is very brave to even try that project. We don't blame Mom for being nervous. I would be a wreck.
By the way, Amber, did you know about the great things your Mom makes. They are terrific. Hope all of you have a great day.

Moving walls? Marching or flapping in the breeze? Either way, doesn't sound like any fun, especially if it's cold there.

Oh that would drive me nuts!!!
That is what should be happening here but we don't have any money to get anything fixed and everything needs fixing!! Everything is 40 years old!!! Some hard living has been done here with no repair!!!
Try to stay sane!!!!!!
Yes a bell would probably help but no $ for collars and bells!!
